We will be celebrating Holiday Spirit Days this week. Below is the list of special days:
Monday, December 11 Red vs. Green (wear red or green)
Tuesday, December 12 Ugly Christmas Sweater
Wednesday, December 13 Crazy Hair or Crazy Socks
Thursday, December 14 Grinch Day
Friday, December 15 Polar Express Day - Wear pajamas (wear regular shoes - no slippers)
The East Middle Band will perform their Christmas Concert on Monday, December 11 at 7:00 pm in the gym.
2023-2024 Yearbook and Ad sales are going on now. The deadline to purchase an ad in the yearbook is December 21, 2023. Visit www.buytheyearbook.com for more information.
We will have a Winter Wonderland Dance on Thursday, December 14 from 3:00-4:30. Tickets will be $5 each and will be sold beginning Monday, December 11. Any student who has a full day of In School Suspension (ISS) or Out of School Suspension between November 1 and December 14 will not be eligible to attend the dance.
December 20 will be the last student day before the Winter Break. Students will dismiss at 11:45 on December 20. There will be no school from December 21 - January 3. School will resume on January 4 following the Winter Break.
As part of the East Middle dress code, students are not allowed to wear pajamas or pajama pants to school with the exception of specially designated days (such as Friday for Polar Express Day). Students who are not in compliance with dress code will be asked to contact a parent/guardian to bring them a change of clothes.
Due to technical issues with our iPad software update, we will NOT be doing MAP testing before winter break as originally planned. We expect to conduct mid-year MAP testing in January.
