Athletes will have their pictures made on October 5 as well. However, their pictures cannot be ordered online. The printed order form for athletes was sent home last week.
Report cards for the first 6-week grading period go home Monday, October 2.
8th Graders will take a field trip to the Gilbert Town Historical Site near Rutherfordton from 8:00-11:00 this Wednesday, October 4. There is no cost for this trip, but students must turn in a field trip permission form signed by their parent/guardian in order to attend.
Afterschool Homework Help will be available Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:00 this week. Homework Help will NOT be offered on Wednesday due to a home football game.

Our 7th grade team is sponsoring our first dance of the year on Thursday, October 26 from 3:00-4:30. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader who is in good behavior standing may attend. Students who receive a whole day of In School Suspension (ISS) or any days of Out of School Suspension (OSS) between October 2 - October 26 are NOT eligible to attend the dance. Tickets for the dance are $5 each and will be sold beginning Monday, October 23.
