Good evening, East Rutherford Middle School students and families. We hope you had a fantastic weekend. On Monday, January 27th  your child will receive their report card for the 3rd six weeks during homeroom. We will celebrate the academic success of our students on Friday, January 31st during our Viking Valor Awards Day. We hope you can attend. 6th grade students will be recognized at 1:45, 7th grade students at 9:50 and 8th grade students at 11:30.

Your child will take their NC Check-in assessments this week. NC Check-in Reading will take place on Tuesday and NC Check-in Math will take place on Wednesday. Please make every effort to have your child at school and on time Tuesday and Wednesday morning.  iPads should also be charged the morning of the assessment. We will begin the assessment at 8:00 AM each day. The data from the NC Check-ins help us to determine how well your child is learning the material taught at this point of the school year. Please encourage your child to do their best.  We look forward to seeing our improvements so far this year.

Don’t forget you can stay after school every Tuesday through Thursday for Homework Help. This is a great time to get caught up on assignments, complete work that is due for the week or seek assistance from a teacher. Homework Help is from 3:00 - 4:00.
