End of year MAP testing will take place this week. Please encourage your student to do his/her best on the test. We will use the MAP testing results, along with EOG test results to place student in classrooms next school year. Students will earn reward social time for meeting individual MAP growth goals, bringing their iPad fully charged each day, being engaged on the test and not distracting others during testing. The MAP testing schedule this week is as follows:
Tuesday, April 16 - 7th Grade Reading MAP
Wednesday, April 17 - 6th and 8th Grade Reading MAP
Thursday, April 18 - 6th and 7th Grade Math MAP
Friday, April 19 - 8th Grade Math MAP
6th Graders will take the MAP Math test on Thursday, April 18, due to the fact that they will be on a field trip on Friday.
6th graders will travel to Isothermal Community College to attend their annual Science and Technology Expo on Friday, April 19. The cost of the trip is $10 per student. Please turn in the money and field trip permission form by Thursday, April 18.

Report Cards for the 5th grading period will be sent home this Friday, April 19. The final grading period for this school year begins on Monday, April 15.

The 8th Grade Formal will be Friday, May 3 from 5:00-7:00. Dress code is semi-formal. Tickets to are $15. in order for 8th graders to be eligible to attend the 8th Grade Formal Dance on May 3, they must have no full-days in ISS or any OSS beginning April 15.
